Town Hall
The Town Hall (Palazzo Pubblico), built during the late 13th century and early 14th century, epitomizes the Gothic architecture of Siena. It is located in Il Campo, the main square in Siena.
Cathedral
The Gothic Siena Cathedral, built in the 12th and 13th centuries, includes beautiful bands of colored marble, rich works of art and a uniquely stunning black and white striped zebra-like pattern inside. The pulpit by Niccolo Pisano is a true masterpiece, depicting scenes such as the crucifixion. The bell tower and fa?ade were later designed by his son, Giovanni.
