On the way to Sorrento, you’ll stop to visit Pompeii, frozen in time since 79 AD. It's haunting, powerful, and unforgettable! Once in Sorrento, relax and settle into this cliffside gem before enjoying a laid-back dinner at your hotel. DAY 6 • SORRENTO » CAPRI » SORRENTO » DINNER OUT WEDNESDAY: This morning, head to the enchanting island of Capri. Weather permitting, enjoy a private boat tour around the island, including the iconic Faraglioni and the stunning Grotta Bianca. Back on land, enjoy free time to explore or join an optional excursion with your tour director. In the afternoon, return to Sorrento to relax before dinner at a local restaurant. DAY 7 • SORRENTO » NAPLES » SORRENTO THURSDAY: This morning, head to Naples—Italy’s most authentic and vibrant city—accompanied by a local guide born and raised in Napoli. Enjoy a walking tour past the Royal Palace, through Santa Lucia, and up to Via Cesario Console for breathtaking views of the Gulf and Vesuvius. Visit the Royal Palace courtyard and stroll through the gardens to the historic Teatro San Carlo, followed by some free time to explore. In the afternoon, visit charming Sorrento, where you’ll have time to sightsee and shop before returning to your hotel. The evening is yours—perfect for a sunset stroll or gelato with a view. DAY 8 • SORRENTO » TRAIN TO FLORENCE » DINNER IN HOTEL FRIDAY: This morning, you’ll board a train to Florence! You’ll arrive in this beautiful Renaissance city and after checking into your hotel, you’ll have the afternoon free to enjoy! This evening’s dinner features fine local wines at your hotel. DAY 9 • FLORENCE » CITY SIGHTSEEING, INCLUDING THE DAVID » DINNER OUT SATURDAY: Your day of sightseeing includes the majestic Duomo Complex built in 1296, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with its renowned Gates of Paradise doors. Follow the medieval streets to the most striking square in Florence, Piazza della Signoria. You’ll visit the Accademia; “Breathtaking” is the only word to describe one’s first view of Michelangelo’s David. Tonight, you’ll enjoy dinner at our favorite local Tuscan restaurant. DAY 10 FLORENCE » PISA » WINE TASTING & EARLY DINNER IN TUSCANY » FLORENCE SUNDAY: This morning, visit Pisa to see its iconic Leaning Tower, along with the stunning Cathedral and Baptistery. In the afternoon, head to a traditional Tuscan winery to meet our charming friend, Pierluigi Giachi—the most enchanting sommelier! Learn about wine, pairings, and proper glasses, followed by a tasting and early light dinner. DAY 11 • FLORENCE » PADUA » VENICE » DINNER IN HOTEL MONDAY: This morning, visit Padua, a city with quiet charm and deep spiritual roots. Explore the Basilica of St. Anthony, then enjoy free time to wander its timeless streets. Next, head to Venice, arriving by bus and water taxi. After settling into your hotel, take time to relax or explore. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the hotel— good food, good wine, and great company! DAY 12 • VENICE » CITY SIGHTSEEING TUESDAY: This morning, you’ll enjoy a walking tour through Venice’s heart—St. Mark’s Square. Visit the stunning Basilica, cross the Bridge of Sighs, and explore the grand Doge’s Palace. Then cruise by motorboat to Murano, where master glassmakers will demonstrate centuries- old techniques of hand-blowing and sculpting. This afternoon is yours to explore Venice—get lost in its winding canals and hidden piazzas. Tonight, dinner is on your own. Try cicchetti , Venice’s version of tapas! DAY 13 • VENICE » SIRMIONE » MILAN SIGHTSEEING » DINNER OUT WEDNESDAY: On the way to Milan, stop in Sirmione, a charming Lake Garda town known for its hot springs, medieval castle, and stunning views of the Dolomites. Continue to Milan, Italy’s style capital, for a panoramic drive around the city. Next visit the Piazza del Duomo, home to the stunning Milan Cathedral.
