DAY 3 • BILBAO » LA RIOJA » BILBAO MONDAY: Today, we travel from Bilbao into the breathtaking Rioja Alavesa wine region for an exclusive visit to the legendary Marqués de Riscal Winery, founded in 1858 and one of Spain’s oldest and most prestigious wineries. The Herederos del Marqués de Riscal family has deep roots in the Basque Country—even lending their name to a street in Bilbao. Set among rolling vineyards and picturesque countryside, we’ll enjoy a private wine tasting, featuring exceptional wines from this world- renowned estate, accompanied by light snacks showcasing regional flavors. We’ll also admire the spectacular Marqués de Riscal Hotel, designed by Frank Gehry, the same architect behind Bilbao’s Guggenheim Museum.
