Today you’ll fly to Honolulu on the island of Oahu, one of the single most dreamed of vacation spots in the world. You’ll be met with a cool, aromatic, flower-lei greeting right at the airport!
Arriving in the hotel, you’ll again be welcomed by Perillo reps who will help you to settle into your room in this American paradise. ALOHA!
The brilliant Hawaiian sunrise beckons you to a great breakfast… Next, a short familiarization talk on your Hawaiian adventure.
After breakfast we set off for Pearl Harbor to commemorate the “day that will live in infamy,” December 7, 1941. Few Americans who set foot on the Arizona Memorial can avoid a few goose bumps… We continue on to the historic sightseeing tour of downtown Honolulu, followed with a tour of the beautiful ‘Iolani Palace, the only Royal palace on American soil.
Tonight, enjoy an à la carte dinner at Duke’s Waikiki Restaurant with Mai Tai, wine, beer or soft drink included. Duke’s Waikiki’s menu is award winning Hawaii regional cuisine, including freshly caught seafood from the islands! You will want to try their famous “Hula Pie.”
After breakfast, the morning is all yours. Why not enjoy Waikiki beach? Try surfing!
This afternoon and into the evening you’ll experience the real Hawaiian culture at Nutridge Estate!
Immerse yourself into the island’s language and traditions with hands-on experiences, workshops and games.
Then, it’s cocktails overlooking an unforgettable Pacific sunset. Enjoy dinner with wine, beer, soft drinks and traditional entertainment.
Tonight, is when you become a real Hawaiian!
After breakfast we jet to Maui, the “Valley Island.”
In 1778, Captain James Cook arrived in “Mowee” ending the idyllic life of the Polynesian natives. In Cook’s wake came traders, missionaries and whalers. At the height of the whaling era (1840 to 1865), Lahaina Town served as the anchorage for more than 500 ships!
You’ll love the Sheraton Maui. Fancy but casual. And with one of the best white sand beaches in all Maui!
We’ll settle in room and enjoy an a’ la carte dinner with wine or soft drinks at the Hula Grill oceanfront restaurant located next door. Of course, gratuities are included.
After breakfast, ask your tour leader for suggestions for your day of leisure at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa.
Start by stretching our on Ka’anapali Beach, rated one of the best beaches ON EARTH by Conde’ Nast magazine. Try a hula lesson…or how about a ukulele lesson?
Afraid to jump off the world-famous “Black Rock” cliff? It’s just as fun to watch the kids do it! But there’s also fantastic snorkeling along its base - like swimming in the world’s best tropical fish tank - sea turtles and all!
Late this afternoon, it’s fun and relaxation time as our smooth catamaran sails into the setting sun. Enjoy tradewind sailing with phenomenal views of West Maui, Molokai and Lanai.
Included are hot and cold hearty pupus with mai tais, beer, sodas, a great crew with great appetizers. If it’s whale season, mid- December thru mid-April, perhaps we’ll be lucky to see a humpback or two.
After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a free morning and afternoon at one of the most beautiful resorts in the world! Spend a lazy day in the sun, or ask your tour leader for exciting activities that only Maui can offer.
Tonight…our Hawaiian Luau Spectacular! It’s the hottest show on the island. Our luau takes you on a journey through the islands of Polynesia. Witness the authentic dances and music of Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti and Hawaii. Enjoy an open bar and an all-you-can-eat traditional luau featuring a superb combination of Hawaiian specialties, complete with an Imu ceremony.
Our “Two Islander” guests transfer to Maui Airport. Your tour will end after breakfast this morning. Mahalo, and please join us again soon!
If you have booked our “Big Island’ extension to the Island of Hawaii, after breakfast you will be transferred to Maui airport for your flight to Kona.
