Palazzo Loupassi is a restored historic manor located in the village of Vasilopoulo-Kolymvari, 30 km west of Chania, Crete. Set amidst ancient olive groves and vineyards, the estate is composed of four distinct suites housed within a traditional stone manor. The property reflects the character of a royal residence, featuring stone arches, courtyards, and lanes.
Guests may choose to rent an individual suite or book the entire estate for a private group, which ensures exclusive use of all common areas, including the swimming pool and gardens. This property offers a peaceful, authentic Cretan atmosphere for those who appreciate historic charm.
Our Collection of Suites
The estate consists of four distinct, individually designed suites, each blending traditional stone architecture with sophisticated, artisan-crafted interiors, offering a total of 7 bedrooms and multiple living and dining areas:
- Prince Elias Presidential Suite: A spacious 170 m² residence featuring three bedrooms, high stone-built arches, a traditional stone fireplace, and a dining room seating 14.
- King George Grand Suite: A 100 m² residence with two bedrooms, high-standard marble floors, a traditional stone ecological fireplace, and a whirlpool bath.
- Princess Eleftheria Executive Suite: A two-storey independent residence featuring a historic mosaic centerpiece and a private courtyard with barbecue facilities.
- Queen Angela Junior Suite: A functional and elegant one-bedroom suite featuring Murano crystal accents and a spa-like whirlpool cabin.
- Dining & Leisure: Guests may visit the Barazzo Lounge Bar for drinks and music, the relaxing Barazzo Café, and the Taverna, which serves traditional Cretan and international cuisine by an award-winning chef.
- Wine Cava: The estate features a stone-built wine cellar with over 100 global labels; sommelier assistance is available.
