WEDNESDAY - Boarding your overnight flight, you’re off on a memorable journey to Italy!
THURSDAY - Benvenuti a Firenze! We are pleased to offer complimentary transfers from the Florence airport to your hotel at scheduled times. Your Perillo representative will be at the airport to greet you.
Enjoy some free time this afternoon, take a stroll, have a gelato or maybe do some shopping.
In the evening, you will meet your tour leader for a brief orientation and welcome drink, followed by dinner in your hotel.
FRIDAY - This morning, after breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour through the heart of Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance.
Discover the stunning Duomo Complex (begun in 1296), Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with its iconic Gates of Paradise.
Wander medieval streets to Piazza della Signoria, Florence’s most striking square, before experiencing the awe-inspiring sight of Michelangelo’s David—a true masterpiece carved from stone.
This evening, enjoy dinner at your leisure. Your tour leader will be happy to recommend local favorites.
SATURDAY - After breakfast, depart by bus for Bologna, Italy’s gastronomic capital and home to the world’s oldest university. Known for its rich culinary heritage and iconic medieval towers, Bologna is a feast for the senses.
The afternoon is yours to explore at leisure—perhaps stroll through local markets or wander the historic center.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring regional specialties at a local restaurant.
SUNDAY - This morning, travel to Parma, renowned for its prosciutto, Parmigiano cheese, and beautiful countryside.
Stop en route for a tasting at a local Parmigiano factory—always a favorite!
In Parma, visit a prosciutto producer, followed by a light lunch.
Return to Bologna for a free evening. Don’t miss the chance to try tortellini—legend says they’re shaped after Venus’ navel!
MONDAY - Andiamo a Venezia! You are off to one of the most unique cities in the world - Venice!
In Venice, everything—and everyone—floats. There’s a unique sense of freedom in a city with no traffic, no honking horns—just quiet canals and timeless beauty.
Your guide will lead you through its highlights, including St. Mark’s Square, the magnificent Basilica, and the iconic Bridge of Sighs.

TUESDAY - Today, travel through the fertile lands of Emilia Romagna to the stunning Ligurian coast.
Weather permitting, enjoy a short boat ride to Portofino, a postcard-perfect village known for its colorful houses and celebrity charm.
Continue to Camogli, a quaint fishing village, where you’ll have time to explore, enjoy a gelato, or simply soak up the seaside atmosphere.
Finally, arrive in Rapallo, a beautiful resort town on the Riviera. After a brief visit to the town center, check into your hotel and enjoy dinner with fine local wines.
WEDNESDAY - Get ready for an unforgettable day exploring the Cinque Terre, five charming fishing villages perched along the rugged Italian Riviera—consistently ranked among Italy’s top destinations.
Travel to Sestri Levante and board the train to Vernazza, the jewel of the Cinque Terre, where life remains simple and car-free.
Return to your hotel in Rapallo for a free evening.

Words cannot adequately describe the experience we had with Perillo tours. ! Our 14 day northern Italy classic tour was a dream come true. Every day I woke up and felt like someone should pinch me, it was surreal. Everything was top notch from the hotels, restaurants, the itinerary and the wonderful tour guides and bus driver. I came home completely satisfied knowing that I went to Italy and so everything I wanted to see. The only disappointing part of the trip was Milan. I would've rather had more time to spend in the Sorrento/Capri area. Milan could not compare to the other cities that we visited and the activities that we did. Overall, we had a fantastic time and I highly recommend perillo tours to all my friends and family.
